Email clients relieve you from logging into an online account each time you want to check your emails. Unfortunately, it is not easy to manage multiple accounts with the same client. In some cases, you have to sign out or go through a thick layer of options, to switch to a different account. If you are using more than one email address, Inky is the solution you need. It allows you to access all your accounts at once, on the same interface, organize your messages in different folders, sort them by relevance and much more. The best part is that Inky is very easy to use, even for beginners.

Another advantage is the fact that Inky is absolutely free. After downloading its 24 MB setup package, you will have to go through a few basic steps, to install the software's components. It is available for Windows and Mac OS X platforms and its system requirements are modest.

You will have to create an Inky account, before you start organizing your emails. The good news is that you only need to specify a user name and a password, instead of filling in a huge sign up sheet. The account is created immediately and you will not have to go to your inbox and click a confirmation link. Once you are signed in, you may add any POP or IMAP account. You may access different sections, on Inky user interface, by clicking a series of icons, on the left side of the window. Inboxes are displayed in separate sections, but you can also find a unified inbox.

Inky shines the most when it comes to adding new accounts. All you have to do is type in your email address and password and the software will take care of the rest. You will not have to specify any port numbers or server names. If your login credentials are correct, the program will configure the incoming and outgoing connections automatically.

The software provides a rich settings panel, on which you can enable and disable various features. Depending on your settings, Inky may complete a recipient's address or add it to your addresses book automatically and mark the added contacts as important, if they send a specific number of messages. There are many more interesting settings to make, but they are too many to count. Additionally, you can make a series of configurations for individual accounts, from specifying your identity details to creating special folders.

Messages can be sent from any account, in the same section. You may select one of your accounts from a drop menu. The software will also suggest email addresses, if you select a certain account but insert an address from another account. If the recipient's address is the same as the sender's, the application will suggest a different sender and you can change it or ignore it with a single click.

Pros

Inky is very flexible and easy to use. You can add any account, just by typing in your email address and password. The software allows you to increase or decrease a message's relevance, mark senders as important, sort your message in special folders and much more.

Cons

The software does not present any serious drawbacks. With its smart, flexible and easy to use features, Inky will change the way you send, receive and organize your emails.
